Our goal: to drive profitable total revenue growth, targeting a system contribution of 70 percent by 2020.
Rezidor’s dynamic RevGen Wheel is a unique tool, designed to ensure that our RevGen engine embraces the shifting dynamics of our modern marketplace. It helps us race toward our goal as we focus on our key priorities, creating a vital, personal connection with our customers, partners, owners and team members – both offline and online.
Changing customer trends, loyalty patterns and the growing power of influencers and social media, means it is now vital for us to to be truly agile, innovative and customer focused.
Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) are a crucial part of Rezidor’s business. And, despite fierce competition, we continued to see great growth opportunities in this important market segment during 2016. We introduced a range of initiatives to enhance our M&E website - and to develop our engagement with direct/indirect M&E booking channels/other revenue generation resources.
Engaging, relevant, highly impactful communications are key to our success with the ever-growing online business market. We made significant investments in our technology to offer the “one & only” digital platform - bringing our customers and hotels together.
Loyalty counts above everything! This is our passionate belief. Loyalty is the key catalyst for purpose, people and profits. But industry experts warn that without a great experience, loyalty programs are becoming less valuable to the modern customer. Loyalty is an emotion, not a transaction. Positive customer engagement has never been more important than it is today, or had a bigger impact on our bottom line.

Radisson RED is a new hotel philosophy that connects with an ageless millennial mindset through art, music and fashion. Offering the freedom, flexibility and fun that the modern traveler demands, RED is about curating guest experiences that are engaging and authentic. Forget everything you thought you knew about hotels.
Radisson RED is creating new rules. And it starts at hello. The lobby is artistic, energetic, exciting and welcoming. Guest Studios are designed by inspiration, not a corporate template. Everything we do is engineered to be as fresh thinking and smart as our guests. From the style-conscious and locally inspired OUIBar + KTCHN to multifunctional zones to work, rest and play. RED has sociable spaces powered by free WiFi, relevant music and unique art.
RED took off in 2016 with the first hotels in Minneapolis and Brussels, both centrally located, steps away from the hustle and bustle as well as trendy digs for night hawks. Watch for Glasgow and Cape Town openings ahead and plans for 60 RED's in 60 cities by 2020.
Food & Drinks
The OUIBar+ KTCHN is the food, drink and social hub. The menus are created from local, seasonal products so guests can experience the taste of the city.
the towns RED
A new heartbeat for Brussels and Minneapolis! The world’s first Radisson RED hotels opened there in 2016 with big plans for other cities across the globe. Reaching out to millennial-minded travelers, RED skips the formal lobby/restaurant/lounge/meeting space layout and integrates them in a ‘social hive’. In Brussels, RED is steps away from the European Parliament, the bistro-bar scene of Place de Luxembourg and short walk from the other EU institutions. In Minneapolis, it’s in trendy redeveloped East Town, steps from U.S. Bank Stadium. Rezidor plans to expand to more than a dozen REDs, including Miami, Portland and Campinas, Brazil.
RED’s Emerging Artist 2016 competition was intense. Splashing color and energy, Hanh Huynh’s name means ‘happiness’ in Vietnamese. Danny Molloy of Ireland contrasts with traditional pen and ink methods to create dark, mystical works inspired by Dali. Dan Bean creates melting aquarelles and dabbles in wood, styrofoam and digital. Jen Walker of Scotland experiments with 3D design. Mallorie Mae Faubert of Philadelphia incarnates Jackson Pollock. Plus a half dozen tattoo artists. The winner? The bold pop art of Lucy Truelove - @lucytruloveartist!
